Dear Students:
Last week I wrote to you to consider trying to make me proud of you "10 times over;" remember?
Think about how you DID make me proud, and think about how you COULD HAVE but DIDN'T.
Use these thoughts and considerations to project what is upcoming this week in which you can make me proud of you, and make you, proud of yourself!
Strive for excellence, be kind and helpful, show self-control and maturity, and "Do you Duty well, and live!"
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
You are the BEST. That is, you are the BEST when you are fully concentrating on all and everything I engage you in, in The Joy and Challenge of Learning.
I respect you and honor you when you accept learning challenges, do what you are supposed to do, and TRY YOUR BEST to be your BEST.
Remember to use 'Bear in the Window' so that you are not pulled away from being your BEST.
Use Positive Peer Pressure to everyone so that we can continue to make Classroom 16 the Best in the world!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
This message this morning is to emphasize how powerful, significant, and important are the messages we give to one another, to our family members, to our friends, to any for which it is our Duty to serve.
"Mind your words" in what you say, in what you write, in what you communicate to others.
Be expressive to get across the ideas and feelings you have, and be sensitive to how your "messages" affect the ideas and feelings of others.
And in this, be worthy unto your ancestors.
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
For those Dancing today, you will have 3 minutes of Greatness, 3 minutes of pure Joy, 3 minutes of being appreciated and honored by hundreds of people!
For those watching, honor your classmates, and be proud to know them and call these performers your friends.
Together we have much today to be in anticipation of, and further in anticipation of tomorrow. Classroom 16! A GREAT PLACE TO BE!
Make me proud of you today.
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
What do you look forward to on Fridays?
For me it is the opportunity to hear and share in your creative stories. It is something that we are ALL sharing in together in one another's company, and enjoying one another's ideas.
Much else, of course, in that all we do together in Classroom 16! is special, including on most Fridays, for those in it, Dance Club!
Let us again honor and enjoy the Dancing today in the show, and be happy in one another's company.
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
